We started at 10:30pm. Me and Kev met these 2 Yank chicks and tagged along with them because we had forgotten to bring a torch and they had one. They held us up a bit, beause they are girls and we are Men (well I think they held Kevin up, but I'm actually a really unfit wuss, so its was all fine with me. I just look good). But it was all good, we all made it in time for the Sunrise and had a good laugh along the way. If you can call getting knackered and frostbitten a good laugh.....

hey mate - love the site. Looks great, and looks like you are having a great time in G-Pan (as my friend Dion insisted on calling it when he spent 4 weeks there). Corinne and I are almost 100% that we will put in for my next posting to be back to Melbourne (in 2008). This means we might be able to resurrect the greatest cell group crew in the world (that might be an overstatement, but I'm sticking by it).
Things still going ok over here - google Australians in Iraq and you'll see a recent 'ambush' that happened in Al Mathanna province. I was right in the middle of it all - good times, good times!
