Positively 4th Street
I grew up in one house, in Hackbridge which is in a suburb of South London. The ghetto, word! Well, me parents have done a bunk, and moved down by the sea in rather pretty rural Devon. It was my first trip to the new house, which proved to be very nice, if kinda back to front. Reunions with the cat was also good. All in all, very pretty. And its close to the beach!
Post London, I took off for the hills, stopping off in sunny Eynsham (just west of Oxford) to see the lovely Dan & Julie. Cheers for the roast, thoroughly recommended. After that, on to less sunny Macclesfield for a stop off with superstar Bentley designer and wannabe Schumacher, my good mate Mr Dom. What a guy! Then, the final leg to Leshmahagow to see Gran. She is the Gran, 91, still going strong. Awesome. All this and seeing how fast a Fiesta 1.2 will go down a hill. Rocket 95.
The London. Was great to be back for a bit, see old friends, visit old haunts, check out the changes. Hadn't changed much actually, but heh, its all good. Did a few muses, few gallerias. Felt a bit distant, a little unfamiliar, has it really been this long? Anyway, it was great to see you guys, its really nice to know that with some people, it's like you never left.
So, this is what I've been up to for the last 10 months or so. Check it out. Above are some of the photos of the Press reveal in Paris, as you can see I was pretty relieved to see it all come togther after some very tense last minute problems. Anyway, hey, we pulled it off. If you wanna see more stuff, just put Chevrolet WTCC Ultra into google. Or just not.
So the Kingsbury clan met up in Le Paris a couple of weekends ago. It was great, the first time we've all been together in almost 2 years, so that was very cool. Its weird to think that its been that long, and it'll probably be more than a year before it happens again. It was a good time though. You can take it for granted.Oh, and Bob isn't part of my direct family, but then, he is 'the Bob'. Cheers mate.
The Party of Bec. This is also a bit overdue, sorry, been a bit slack recently. Anyway, twas a great night of joviality, much entertainment, little sleep. Happy Birthday Becs.
A long overdue edition to the blog, very remiss of me. This is just some photos of the Australia vs Greece friendly in Melbourne just prior to the World Cup. The game ended 1-0 to Oz, but I thought both teams were rubbish. I reckon I could have scored at least 19 - Have it!Ps. Thanks Penny for the photos, and thanks Will for organising it all.
